Differential Diagnosis

History:

A 52-year-old man has had multiple, asymptomatic, well-demarcated, erythematous plaques covered with thick white-silvery scales involving the anterior aspects of both legs of many years duration. The scalp and nails were not involved. Family history of psoriasis was negative.
