Differential Diagnosis

History: Xeroderma pigmentosum is an autosomal recessive disorder characterized by defective repair of DNA after its damage by UVR. This boy had normal skin at birth but after the age of one year he suffered frequent photosensitive reactions, multiple freckles on his face and photophobia.
