Differential Diagnosis

History: A young adult man presented with bilateral symmetrical crural erythematous patches with active scaly borders of few weeks duration. After a march for a long distance the patient suffered severe burning sensation in the involved area which became more reddish. KOH smear of peripheral scales yielded positive fungal elements.
