Differential Diagnosis

History: The youngster in the images presented with a few month history of developing numerous, well-marginated, finely scaly, oval-to-round hypopigmented discrete and confluent macules involving the chest, neck and the face.  Tinea versicolor is caused by the yeast Malassezia furfur.
