Differential Diagnosis


This young boy had the sudden onset of blisters which burst rapidly and formed crusts.Swabs grew staphylococcus aureus.The blistering in this condition occurs beneath the stratum corneum.Hence the blisters are very fragile and rapidly form crusts.He responded quickly to dicloxacillin and healed without scarring.
