Differential Diagnosis

History: Actinic keratoses are usually found on the sun-exposed areas of the face, the ears, the forearms, and the dorsum of the hands in adults with history of chronic sun exposure.  There is often a background of solar-damaged skin with telangiectasias, elastosis, and pigmented lentigines.
