History:

A 20-year-old male presented an itchy rash of 10 weeks duration. The rash has a bilateral symmetrical half moon appearance on each crural area with a scaly active border and somehow hyperpigmented center. Wood’s lamp examination was negative for erythrasma . KOH examination of skin scrapings was positive. Oral Griseofulvin 500 mg twice daily plus topical Clotrimazole gave excellent results within one month.
