Bullous scabies is an uncommon presentation of scabies that may be seen in immunocompetent infants, young children and elderly. It can be confused with bullous pemphigoid, insect bites, linear IgA dermatosis, epidermolysis bullosa or chronic bullous disease of childhood. The diagnois is usually confirmed by finding the bullous lesions over scabies prone sites, history of nocturnal itching and detection of nits in burrow scrapping.
