Differential Diagnosis

History: A middle-aged man presented with a hyperpigmented patch of brown-blackish discoloration with an irregular border on the side of the foot near the ankle area of about three years duration. At last six months the affected area developed superficial ulceration near its periphery. Biopsy has proved acral lentiginous melanoma.
