Differential Diagnosis

History:

Tiny erythematous papulopustules appeared on the face 3 days after birth of this 10 days old female neonate. Comedones were absent. Neonatal acne can occur in up to 20 percent of healthy newborns. Lesions usually appear within 2 weeks after birth and resolve spontaneously within 3 months.
