History:

This girl developed crusted lesion after has been scratched by the nails of her sister two days before the onset of the rash appearance. New lesions started to appear and spread through itching by the patient. On examination, three red patches covered with honey-coloured crusts were seen lateral to the left eye. Impetigo contagiosum commonly occurs in children and favors the periorificial locations especially around the nose, mouth and eyes. Autoinoculation through itching and scratching may partly be responsible for spread of the disease in the same patient.
