History:

A 21 year old Indian male has presented with high grade fever, skin lesions and burning micturition for 3 days. The lesions began as vesicles and then spread all over the body in one day. He had history of treatment with sulphadoxine and pyrimethamine for a suspected malarial fever 9 days ago. The lesions were polymorphic with vesicles, blisters and pustules with erythematous macular base. He also had erythematous and crusted lesions on the lips and lesions in the oral cavity. Blepharitis and genital lesions were also present. He was treated with IV fluids, topical antiseptics, anesthetics and dressings. We lost follow up of the patient after he was transferred to a nearby hospital.
