History: Guttate psoriasis usually occurs in children and characterized by sudden onset of rain-drop sized red scaly papules mainly on the trunk. It may follow streptococcal pharyngitis or tonsillitis. It has better prognosis in comparison with other types of psoriasis, however it may change or progress to common plaque psoriasis (psoriasis vulgaris). The present case is typical in its presentation and morphology of guttate psoriasis except it occurs in an adult man.
