History: This adolescent has had multiple brownish-red papules and plaques mainly on the trunk since early childhood. The course of the condition is on and off as some lesions disappear and others emerge. A characteristic finding on examination is that most lesions urticate and become itchy on firm rubbing of the lesions i.e. positive Darier's sign.
