Differential Diagnosis

History: Presented with painless, slowly growing nodule on face. History of bad "cough and cold" some months previously, but chest x-ray unremarkable. Biopsy showed large budding yeast in "Figure 8" configuration and culture confirmed North American Blastomycosis. Treated successfully with itraconazole.
