History:

This lady's images show the characteristic features of Hailey Hailey disease.

This is an inherited disorder involving the flexures where there is a defect in the bonds between the cells of the epidermis.This causes the skin to sheer and split with mild friction.It is worse with sweating.Hence most people get worse in summer.The crusts represent areas of secondary infection particularly with staphylococci and candida.
