History: Four years ago the patient has noticed spontaneous development of few hard nodules in one shoulder area. The lesions had been excised at that time by a surgeon and diagnosed as dermatofibrosarcoma protuberans through histological examination. Now new hard nodules appeared within the scarred area of the previous surgery. Biopsy of one of the new nodules showed recurrence of the original condition. This case emphasizes an important issue that is even with extensive surgery dermatofibrosarcoma protuberance is associated with high recurrence rate.
