History: A 3-month-old infant presented with a 10-day-history of an erythematous patches involving the napkin area but sparing the inguinal folds. Many secondary pustules recently superimposed on areas of erythema. The case was diagnosed as napkin dermatitis with secondary staphylococcal infection. It responded well to combination treatment with topical fusidic acid cream and hydrocortisone 2.5% cream applied twice daily for one week.
