History: A 10-year-old girl presented with multiple, asymptomatic, crusted, erythematous nodules on both legs of three months duration. Clinically and histologically these nodules were diagnosed as cutaneous leishmaniasis and systemic Sodium stibogluconate (Pentostam) was elected as therapeutic modality of choice. Unexpectedly, one day after the first i.m injection a strange drug reaction appeared. It mimicked erythema annulare centrifugum and peculiarly the rash developed only around the lesions (see the second picture). The rash has disappeared one week after stopping Pentostam.
