History: A middle-aged woman with very badly controlled adult-onset diabetes mellitus admitted to hospital in a bad general condition with high fever, sweating, rigor and lethargy. On examination, multiple abscesses and crusted pyoderma were found on most parts of the body especially on the face and limbs. Pus cultured showed heavy growth of Staphylococcus aureus.
