History:

Two years history of red scaly lesions limited to the face especially the butterfly region characterized by summer exacerbations. After successful treatment with oral hydroxychloroquine and topical corticosteroid for two to three months all active lesions have vanished on the expense of postinflammatory hyper and hypopigmentation with some skin atrophy.
