Differential Diagnosis

History:

At her youth, this woman made amature tattoo on different parts of her body. The material used with this type of tattoo is carbon (soot) which is introduced into variable depths within the dermis by pin pricking. Many decades later the patient developed asymptomatic granulomatous nodulation of previous tattoos especially on the wrist region. She has been referred to laser therapy.
