History:

This woman presented with a pruritic red scaly eczematous patch on the dorsum of one hand with minimal involvement of the palmar surface of the same hand. The characteristic features were the unilateral involvement and the well-demarcated nature of the patch which arouse the suspecion of tinea manum. The diagnosis confirmed by positive KOH examination of lesional scales.
