History: DCPA is an uncommon condition seen on the hairy legs of males. The condition presents as painful, itchy, and recurrent pustules which heal with scarring and recur frequently. With each attack more of scarring and atrophy occur. Some authors call it as superficial pustular folliculitis which may not be an accurate terminology. Quite often there is history of vigorous rubbing of oil over the legs.
