History:

Dull red crusted painful indurated  plaque involved the nose of four months duration. The lesion started as a small asymptomatic red papule that slowly enlarged to involve most of the nose. The pain due to secondary bacterial infection. Very good response to systemic (intramuscular) sodium stibogluconate therapy was obtained.
