History: This elderly lady initially had an itchy urticarial rash on her trunk and limbs but after a few weeks she suddenly developed these tense grouped blisters.Immunofluorescence showed IgG and C3 deposited on the basement membrane. She responded rapidly to oral steroids and subsequently Imuran as a steroid sparer was used along with topical steroids to any small areas of skin where the urticarial rash was recurring.
