History:

Pseudoxanthoma elasticum is a rare genodermatosis with calcification of elastic fibers in skin, eyes, and cardiovascular system. The inheritance usually is autosomal recessive. This female presented with 2-3 mm yellow flat-topped papules, resembling xanthomas. The papules coalesced producing patches in the neck. Skin biopsy was consistent with pseudoxanthoma elasticum.
