History: This 45-year-old woman with several years history of melasma on the face showed a dramatic improvement only after three weeks treatment with a topical formulation ( Kojic acid+ascorbic acid+lactic acid+tocopheryl acetate+citric acid+retinyl palmitate+salicylic acid) plus hydrocortisone 1 % cream and a sunscreen lotion of SPF 60.
