History:

Hidradenitis suppurativa is a devastating problem when it reaches this stage. There is chronic discharge from deep abscesses and sinus tracts .Numerous organisms can be grown from the discharge.Long term antibiotics may suppress the inflammation but seldom clears the problem.Extensive surgery to remove all the infection and sinus tracts with probable skingrafting will be necessary to clear the condition. The important thing is to do this early.
