History:

It is unusual for a 70 years old lady to develope Langerhans cell histiocytosis.She was initially diagnosed as Darier's disease but histology showed the typical features of histiocytosis.She had no oral involvement.Cutaneous involvement in histiocytosis include a seborrhoeic dermatitis rash in the scalp,persistent intertrigo,otitis externa,red papules,vesicles,pustules,eczema and even xanthoma like lesions.
