History: Cellulitis of the big toe involves infection of  the deep dermis and subcutaneous tissues with Strep Pyogenes and Staph aureus. In children cellulitis tends to involve the head and neck but in adults it is the peripheries. This lady had no obvious sources of entry for the organism. She did have lymphangitis and groin node tenderness and enlagement. She settled with intravenous Dicloxacillin.Skin peeling occured later.
