History: Perifollicular fibromas are multiple flesh coloured or pink lesions which resemble trichoepitheliomas.Their presence has been linked to colonic polyposis.They represent a benign fibroma of the connective tissue sheath of the hair follicle.They have been described as part of the Birt-Hogg-Dube syndrome.
