History: Dermatofibrosarcoma protuberans is a terrible tumour. Most cases occur on the trunk.Despite their size they seldom metastasize.Pain is a feature as the lesions slowly expand.Mohs' surgery is the treatment of choice or the lesions have to be widely and deeply excised or they will recur.
