History: Pompholyx eczema is characterized by sudden outbreaks of tense deep seated vesicles on the sides of the fingers,palms and soles.It is intensely itchy.The vesicles may coalesce in areas into blisters.Bullous tinea or an ID reaction should be considered in the differential diagnosis.Some cases are due to an allergic contact dermatitis.Patch testing is then necessary
