Differential Diagnosis

History:

 Unilateral painful purplish nodules involved only two fingers of 5 days duration. O/E the involved parts were cold and the patient complained severe itching on exposure to heat. Pentoxyphyllin 400 mg twice daily for 10 days gave very good improvement.
