History:

A 25-year old lady presented with a burning red scaly rash of 5 days duration. She has used a topical preparation composed of Retin-A cream, Hydroquinon and Mometasone in cream base. This reaction is mostly due to irritation caused by Retin-A. She was asked to stop using this combination formula and to apply betamethasone valerate 0.1% twice daily. Within 10 days she had great improvement.
