History: The lesions of Secondary syphilis are usually red and scaly, typically found on the chest and the palms of the hands as in this case.As the lesions age they can become less scaly and more polymorphic becoming more papular and sometimes pustular and pigmented.They usually begin 6 to 8 weeks after the penile ulcer or chancre and can last days or months.Always check for oral and perianal lesions that look like flat warts.
