History:

 A young male suffered severe form of acne presented with polymorphous lesions consisted of comedones, papules, pustules, inflammatory nodules, cysts and some scars involved the face of two years duration. The patient gave history of many topical corticosteroids preparations of varying potencies applied to the face. He has been prescribed an oral isotretinoin 40 mg per day for 3 months with excellent response although marked xerotic side effects he suffered.
