History:

A 12-year old boy presented with an asymptomatic solitary dark bluish red plaque/ nodule just above one of the knees of one year duration.

It is typical of Solitary “Sporadic” angiokeratoma, although it is usually seen in adults. Its typical appearance and onset in children rendered the possibility of melanoma unimportant. No treatment was required after reassurance of the child and his parents.
