History:

Patient of Dr L Taoube - 11 month old girl with a rash which started on 4 days ago on the chest and very quickly started to spread to the perioral region, the hands and the feet. There are also similar lesions on the trunk. and in the nappy region. There are no oral lesions. The child had a fever initially.
The doctor who saw the patient initially took a viral swab from the chest lesions and started her on Keflex.

She returned for review today. The child is not unwell and afebrile. The rash on the chest was apparently looking better. Enterovirus was found on the viral swab. A new fine papulovesicular rash is now appearing on the legs.
The pictures were taken today.
