History:

25 year old man presented with tiredness and malaise and spots on his feet and lower legs.
nil fever - nil other specific symptoms-
spots commenced on dorsum of feet about 3 days before his presentation, and has now spread to his lower legs.Small erythematous spot with surrounding pallor. No scale or blister or pustule. Not on any medications.Denies any bites and says has been at his usual office occupation wearing enclosed shoes, before the onset of the rash.
Rash spontaneously improved over next 10 days

I think this is eruptive pseudoangiomatosis, an echovirus infection. The perilesional pallor is very striking. Self   limiting.
