Differential Diagnosis

History: Pincer nail is due to abnormal curvature of the nail plate.It may be congenital or aquired.The pincer growth can gradually encircle the nail bed distally causing great pain and discomfort when walking.Removal of the nail matrix laterally on both sides is necessary to relieve the condition.
