History:

Patient of Dr P Barua

18 yrs male, skin lesions almost all over his body. H/O these kind of lesions before but not much
extensive. According to him, he developed the lesions after taking Tetracycline Cap.

O/E : dark-red and some blistery /crusted new lesions on lips, glans and also over previous scars.

P/D : Fixed Drug Eruption

RX : Oral Prednisolone and Anti-histamine

These are superb images of a recurrent fixed drug eruption Pritish with involvement of the genital and oral mucosae and lips. You start of with just a few lesions leaving the localised skin hyperpigmentation, and then gradually more areas are involved including mucosal. He would have to avoid all types of tetracycline in the future. (Submitted By: Dr Ian McColl)
