Description: Lichen sclerosus et atrophicus is a chronic inflammatory dermatosis of unknown etiopathogenesis predominantly affecting the anogenital areas and sometimes extragenital areas particularly of the trunk, neck, and upper limbs. It is ten times more common in women then men. It typically presents as small, porcelain white, sclerotic areas which may coalesce to larger patches and plaques.
