History:

There are several methods for destruction of verruca vulgaris (common warts) induced by human papilloma virus (HPV). One of these methods is application of  Verrumal®(0.005 g flurouracil, 0.1 g salicylic acid), which should be used appropriately and you should explain to the patient how to use it. One of the complications is bullae which mainly are sterile but sometimes can be bloody.

A 13-year-old male who's  chief complaint was of quite painful bullae after inappropriate use of Verrumal®. Bullectomy was done and the patient had recovered fully in 2 weeks time by means of local agents and daily dressings.
