History: This 30-year-old woman presented with a 3-month history of developing a red annular scaly eruption associated with mild burning sensation on the dorsum of the right hand.  KOH preparation of the superficial scale revealed fungal hyphae on light microscopy.  The patient responded to treatment with topical miconazole and oral terbinafine (250mg/day for two weeks).
