History:

This patient who had already taken treatment for Hansen's disease repeatedly developed bilaterally symmetrical painless ulcers on the medial aspects of both heels. Ulcers used to heal with regular dressing, but then after a few days they used to recur at the same site. This had started when he shifted from shoes to sandals. They were trophic ulcers due to contact with the hot motorcycle engine.
