Differential Diagnosis

History: Dermatosis papulosa nigra is characterized by multiple, small, hyperpigmented, asymptomatic papules on face.  Histologically, the lesions closely resemble seborrheic keratosis.  The condition is commonly seen among blacks but Southeast Asians with skin types IV to V are also prone to develop this benign disorder.
