History: This patient presented with an abrupt onset of extremely pruritic urticarial papules and blisters on the abdomen and trunk. The initial clinical manifestations were erythematous urticarial patches and plaques, which were typically periumbilical. Then they spread suddenly to the trunk and back and some coalesced  forming a sheet with blisters on top of it at the periphery. She said that she first developed this lesion 2 weeks ago and sought medical advice where it was diagnosed at first as  chicken pox. It is associated with severe pruritus which interferes with the normal daily activities She is 5 months pregnant, and has one child already, but her first pregnancy was free of problems apart from a history of mild PET.
