Differential Diagnosis

History: An acrochordon (also known as a "Cutaneous papilloma," "Cutaneous tag," " polyp" ""Skin tag," it is small benign tumor forms mostly in areas of skin creases, namely neck, armpit, eyelids and groin. The surface may be smooth or irregular. The acrochordon is often raised from the surface of the skin on a fleshy stalk called a peduncle. Seen more with obesity, diabetes mellitus and in pregnant women.
